In current development projects, application engineers have to deal with a very large number of project-specific parameters – in the case of software for diesel engine control units, for example, this already amounts to over 60,000 manipulated variables.
The IAV Macara development tool, which is based on the accumulated experience of IAV engineers, ensures an overview and high speed in the application process despite this enormous complexity.
The tool provides support in viewing and analysing the application data and offers considerable simplification through interfaces to other systems, the clear display and automated processes.

Even if many variants of application data sets are involved, IAV Macara helps you keep an overview and reduce the number of errors through direct comparison and automated processes. Depending on the label type, it provides specialised viewers and helps with sophisticated filter mechanisms to maintain an overview even with huge amounts of data. Changes to data can only be made if they comply with the specifications in the mandatory assigned A2L description. If the data sets in your company are organised in application databases such as ETAS INCA-DB, AVL Creta or IAV Xingu, IAV Macara offers interfaces for connection to these systems.
